Hair-loss protocol

A two-part system to protect and support your hair.

The protocol pairs a clinician-prescribed daily pill with Hatsy's SilkTech™ hat — addressing both the biological and mechanical drivers of hair loss in one simple routine.

The protocol

Two parts, one routine

01Once daily · Rx

Pill

Finasteride and minoxidil block DHT and feed the follicle, with biotin, D3 and K2 to support healthy hair growth.

02Grade 6A silk

SilkTech™ Hat

Hatsy's silk lining eliminates the friction and traction that cause mechanical hair loss — wear it like any cap.

The science

Two mechanisms. One result.

Hair loss isn't one problem — it's two. A hormonal driver thinning follicles from the inside, and daily mechanical wear breaking them from the outside. The pep'd protocol addresses both.

Inside the pill

  • Finasteride

A 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that blocks the conversion of testosterone into DHT — the androgen most responsible for miniaturizing scalp follicles in male-pattern hair loss.

  • Minoxidil

A vasodilator that extends the anagen (growth) phase of the hair cycle and increases follicular blood flow, encouraging thicker, denser regrowth.

  • Biotin, Vitamin D3 & K2

Cofactors that support keratin production, follicle signaling, and the nutrient delivery your hair needs to actually use what the Rx is doing.

Inside the SilkTech™ hat

  • Grade 6A Mulberry silk

The highest silk classification — the same grade used in luxury bedding and medical-grade applications. Not satin. Not a blend.

  • Near-zero friction

Silk's smooth fiber surface eliminates the micro-abrasion that cotton and synthetics create against the hairline and crown every hour a hat is worn.

  • Thermo- and moisture-balanced

Silk breathes and wicks instead of trapping heat and sweat, keeping the scalp environment closer to its natural state — less irritation, fewer clogged follicles, no hat acne.
